FileConnect とは
FileConnect は、シマンテックによるソフトウェアのオンライン配布 Web サイトです。シマンテックのお客様はこのサイトにて、エンタープライズ製品のダウンロードができます。

こちらの記事はCentOS 5.5 に 1.0.13 をインストールした際たいへん参考になった。

/etc/init.d/autoprotect の変更は、

*CentOS\ release\ 5*) osprod=ES osver=5 ;;

のように\を書く必要があった。

2.6.18-194.el5 用の ko ファイルは rpm の中の savap-1.0.13-16.i386.rpm には含まれていなかった。unsupported の中の savap-legacy-1.0.13-1.i386.rpm に含まれていたので
そちらを入れ直した。

/etc/init.d/autoprotect start を実行し、
/etc/init.d/autoprotect status で OK と表示されるようになったが、
/opt/Symantec/symantec_antivirus/sav autoprotect -e を実行しても、
/opt/Symantec/symantec_antivirus/sav info -a の結果が disabled のままだった。
サーバーを再起動したら enabled になった。

symcfgd と rtvscand を再起動したら、サーバを再起動しなくても enabled になったっぽい。
rtvscand だけでもいいかもしれないが未確認。

/etc/init.d/symcfgd restart を実行すると rtvscand を停止した後 symcfgd が停止され、
再び symcfgd が起動されるが、rtvscand の起動は行われない? ふーん。
